Biography:
Dr. Mabry grew up in Laurinburg. In July 1980, he and his wife returned home to join The Purcell Clinic as a full time Board Certified Pediatrician. He has served the children and citizens of his hometown in many areas: as a member of the Scotland County Board of Health, Scotland County Healthy Carolinians Partnership, Director of the Laurinburg/Scotland County Area Chamber of Commerce, and Chief of Staff and Board Member of Scotland Memorial Hospital. He serves in many capacities in the Laurinburg Presbyterian Church. He holds membership in the North Carolina Pediatric Society and the American Academy of Pediatrics. His leisure time is spent on the golf course, fishing, reading, and traveling. The Mabrys have two grown sons.
